Backed by a leading private equity firm, they are accelerating expansion through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. The company is committed to delivering comprehensive safety solutions and has recently completed several acquisitions to strengthen its fire protection division and broaden its geographic footprint.

Role Overview

The Corporate Development Associate will play a key role in supporting our client's aggressive growth strategy. This position focuses on identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions and partnerships that align with the company's vision of becoming the leading single-source provider for fire and life safety solutions across North America.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Target Identification: Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and regional opportunities to identify potential acquisition targets in fire protection and safety services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintiain relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess valuation, synergies, and ROI for prospective deals.
  • Due Diligence: Support comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and legal reviews of target companies.
  • Deal Execution: Assist in transaction management from initial outreach through closing, including preparing investment memos and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Integration Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth post-acquisition integration and realization of synergies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, corporate development.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiarity with industrial services or fire safety industry is a plus.
