Overview: We are currently partnered with a growth-oriented investment and operating platform focused on acquiring and supporting middle-market businesses across a variety of industries. They are looking to add a Corporate Development Analyst to their growing team in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze acquisition opportunities and support transaction execution
- Build financial models, valuations, and operating analyses
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive research
- Assist with due diligence and investment evaluation
- Support strategic growth initiatives across operating businesses
- Evaluate new market opportunities, products, and business lines
- Participate in post-acquisition integration projects
- Prepare investment materials, presentations, and executive reporting
- Work closely with senior leadership teams on strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
- 0-2 years of professional experience
- Background in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Consulting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Interest in both M&A and broader business strategy
