Business Development Manager
My client is a leading cryptocurrency exchange looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to drive institutional growth and onboard blockchain projects onto the firm's exchange. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with hedge funds and other financial institutions in Hong Kong, bridging traditional finance with digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
- Drive onboarding of blockchain projects onto the firm's exchange platform.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow institutional trading volumes and liquidity.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Compliance, Marketing) to ensure smooth integration and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed on regulatory developments, market trends, and competitive landscape in crypto and traditional finance.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within financial services (hedge funds, asset management, prime brokerage) or crypto industry.
- Strong network within Hong Kong's financial sector.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and institutional trading.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in onboarding institutional clients to trading platforms or exchanges.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory frameworks for digital assets.
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills a plus.
