Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Emerging Markets (EM) Rates Structurer to join a leading Tier 1 bank in London at VP or Director level. This role sits within a high-performing global markets team, focused on delivering innovative rate solutions across EM jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure and deliver bespoke EM interest rate products, including derivatives, structured notes, and financing solutions.
- Partner with Sales, Trading, and Research to develop and execute client-focused strategies.
- Monitor and analyse macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and market developments across EM regions.
- Support pricing, risk management, and lifecycle oversight of structured products.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored structuring advice.
- Drive product innovation and contribute to the development of new solutions.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong track record in EM rates structuring within a top-tier financial institution.
- Deep understanding of EM fixed income markets, derivatives, and structured products.
- Advanced quantitative and analytical skills; proficiency in tools such as Excel, Python, or VBA is advantageous.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in a quantitative or financial discipline; postgraduate qualifications or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
