Quantitative Researcher - Global Quant Fund
The Client is seeking highly talented Quantitative Researchers to develop and refine proprietary trading models and strategies. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineers and senior leaders, contributing to a dynamic and innovative trading environment.
Researchers at The Client engage in a wide range of projects, from enhancing existing strategies to initiating independent research. Over time, team members are encouraged to originate their own research ideas and drive them forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and alternative datasets to build and optimize predictive models.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to improve research and development systems.
- Design and implement algorithms that capitalize on predictive signals.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate research insights into trading strategies.
Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics, or related fields.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
- Experience conducting high-level statistical or applied mathematical research.
- Prior experience in a quantitative trading environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or R.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000 - $300,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Bonus: Discretionary bonus, which can be a significant component of total compensation.
