QIS structurer
We're looking for a Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Structurer to design and deliver rule-based investment strategies and structured products across asset classes. This role blends financial engineering, data analysis, and client engagement to create tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Build and improve systematic strategies across equities, fixed income, and commodities.
- Quantitative Analysis: Back-test and evaluate strategies using quantitative models.
- Product Structuring: Create structured products like notes and derivatives to meet client needs.
- Market Research: Analyse market trends to support strategy and product development.
- Client Support: Work with sales to pitch strategies and prepare marketing materials.
- Life cycle Management: Oversee products from idea to execution and post-trade support.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with trading, risk, legal, and tech teams.
- Risk Management: Monitor and manage risks tied to strategies and products.
- Data Management: Maintain databases and ensure data quality for analysis.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-7 years in QIS structuring or similar roles.
- Education: Strong background in quantitative fields (Math, Physics, Engineering, etc.).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, C++, and SQL.
- Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of derivatives, structured products, and portfolio strategies.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and strategic skills.
- Communication: Able to explain complex ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Skilled at building relationships across teams and with clients.
