We are partnering with a client in the financial services sector to find a highly motivated and experienced In-House Counsel with a strong focus on employment law. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to contribute to a central legal department with a broad and impactful scope.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on complex individual employment law matters.
- Collaborate with HR on collective labor law topics, including remuneration regulations and pension schemes.
- Conduct internal training sessions on employment law.
- Coordinate trademark and domain management.
- Oversee procurement and contract management, including drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Lead the legal reporting process across the group, including interfaces with operational risk management.
- Monitor and implement relevant legal and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal legal policies and frameworks.
Your Profile
- Fully qualified lawyer, ideally with a focus on Employment Law.
- Several years of professional experience in employment law, ideally within a bank, financial institution, corporate legal department, or law firm.
- Strong legal expertise and a proactive, hands-on approach to advisory work.
- Fluent in German and English, with legal terminology proficiency; international experience is a plus.
- Willingness to pursue or maintain registration as an in-house counsel (Syndikusrechtsanwalt) - support provided.
