Location: Boston, MA

Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 + Bonus

Type: Full-time | In-person

A fast-growing technology firm specializing in high-performance infrastructure for capital markets is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building next-generation systems. With a strong foundation in innovation and profitability, the firm is expanding its product suite and scaling operations globally.

This leadership role involves guiding the development of high-performance software and hardware solutions for financial markets. You'll work closely with senior leadership, drive project execution, and foster a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver complex software and hardware products with minimal oversight
  • Translate project goals into clear milestones and timelines, ensuring consistent delivery
  • Mentor senior engineers and promote a culture of ownership and accountability
  • Recruit top-tier engineering talent from diverse industries
  • Oversee project phases and ensure adherence to engineering best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of an organization
  • Excellent organizational skills and a results-driven mindset
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to financial markets or trading systems
  • Experience with C/C++, embedded systems, or networking technologies
