A fast-growing technology firm specializing in high-performance infrastructure for capital markets is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building next-generation systems. With a strong foundation in innovation and profitability, the firm is expanding its product suite and scaling operations globally.
This leadership role involves guiding the development of high-performance software and hardware solutions for financial markets. You'll work closely with senior leadership, drive project execution, and foster a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver complex software and hardware products with minimal oversight
- Translate project goals into clear milestones and timelines, ensuring consistent delivery
- Mentor senior engineers and promote a culture of ownership and accountability
- Recruit top-tier engineering talent from diverse industries
- Oversee project phases and ensure adherence to engineering best practices
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of an organization
- Excellent organizational skills and a results-driven mindset
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to financial markets or trading systems
- Experience with C/C++, embedded systems, or networking technologies
