Senior Pricing Analyst - Strategic

Our client is a fast-growing UK insurer on a mission to become the largest personal lines insurer in the UK. As a Senior Pricing Analyst in the Strategic Pricing team, you'll play a key role in enhancing pricing capability and performance management across the home insurance portfolio. Responsibilities:

  • Developing, validating, and reviewing predictive and machine learning models.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate data sets for modelling, pricing, and monitoring.
  • Supporting the deployment of pricing models and rate changes into live environments.
  • Conducting pricing analyses and presenting options to senior stakeholders.
  • Monitoring pricing performance and identifying trends in the market.
  • Managing projects across all stages of the price control cycle.
  • Collaborating with peers across the business to influence pricing decisions.

Requirements:

  • A strong quantitative degree (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science).
  • Experience in a data-driven environment, ideally within insurance.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools and programming languages (e.g. SAS, R, Python).
  • Experience with predictive modelling techniques and tools like Emblem and Radar.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex analysis clearly.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
