San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Base Salary: $135,000 - $150,000 + Bonus
My client is a well-established multifamily investment firm with a national portfolio spanning more than 20,000 units across multiple states. The firm has an active acquisition pipeline, a strong institutional platform, and a collaborative culture focused on creating value through strategic asset management and operational execution.
They are seeking a Senior Associate, Asset Management to play a key role in maximizing performance across a portfolio of multifamily assets. This individual will work closely with senior leadership, property management partners, investors, and lenders to drive NOI growth, enhance asset value, and execute portfolio-level business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee asset management strategy for a multifamily portfolio of approximately 3,500 units
- Partner with third-party property management teams to execute business plans, budgets, and capital projects
- Drive revenue growth, expense management, and overall asset performance
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, brokers, vendors, and operating partners
- Prepare and analyze financial models related to valuations, refinancing, hold/sell decisions, and capital investments
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and property valuations
- Produce monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and performance updates for stakeholders
- Support strategic decisions surrounding dispositions, refinancing, and value-add initiatives
- Travel approximately 15-20% as needed
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in asset management, acquisitions, investment analysis, or real estate operations
- Experience with multifamily and/or commercial real estate investments
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Yardi, Power BI, Vena, or similar platforms is preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
