Senior AML/FC Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Responsible Compliance Officer (RC) in Luxembourg to design and implement strategies for AML, CTF, and sanctions compliance in line with Luxembourg regulations.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments impacting the Luxembourg financial sector.
- Collaborate with compliance teams in Germany and Luxembourg to enhance policies on AML, CTF, sanctions, fraud prevention, and whistleblower systems.
- Contribute to risk analysis and develop systems and processes for assessing and mitigating financial crime risks.
- Advise management and business units on compliance matters.
- Participate in high-risk client reviews and analyze transaction monitoring results.
- Support audits and regulatory inquiries from Luxembourg authorities and external auditors.
- Deliver training on AML and financial crime topics to staff and leadership.
Your Profile
- Degree in business, economics, law, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in AML/financial crime compliance within banking, securities, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's financial sector and regulatory framework.
- ACAMS/CAMS or similar certification is a plus.
- Analytical, proactive, and implementation-focused mindset.
- Excellent German and English communication skills.
- Comfortable with both process-driven and system-related compliance topics.
