Business Development Analyst

We are partnering with a leading private equity firm based in San Francisco, California, looking to bring on a Capital Formation Associate to their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and sourcing new Limited Partners (LPs), driving the firm's fundraising efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of marketing and sales professionals within a dynamic, growth-oriented organization.

Capital Formation Associate Responsibilities:

  • Source and qualify new LPs across RIAs, Family Offices, and Endowments/Foundations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for LP relationships.
  • Initiate outreach and build relationships with key stakeholders, including portfolio managers, CIOs, executives, intermediaries, and other relevant professionals to expand the firm's network and pipeline.
  • Leverage and enhance existing marketing materials for outreach efforts.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline using CRM software to track progress and key metrics.
  • Provide support to senior investor relations professionals, including preparing pipeline reports, presentations, and responses to DDQs/RFPs.

Capital Formation Associate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a financial services organization (preferably a background or knowledge of private equity or relevant sales/business development experience, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willing to be creative and to take a thoughtful and scrappy approach to developing pipeline.
