Product Manager - Payments
We are currently working with a leading digital payments solutions provider that is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on a Product Manager position to be based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership
- Set direction and execution priorities for acquiring‑related products, including cards, local payment methods, and alternative acceptance flows
- Translate business strategy into a clear, deliverable product roadmap
- Evaluate and pursue new product opportunities across merchant payments, cross‑border commerce, and embedded financial services
Payments & Transaction Architecture
- Define and improve transaction lifecycles covering authorisation, clearing, settlement, and post‑transaction processing
- Manage external dependencies including card networks, acquiring partners, payment gateways, and regional payment schemes
- Lead product initiatives related to payment reliability, fraud mitigation, and dispute handling
Merchant‑Facing Capabilities
- Deliver tools and APIs that support merchant onboarding, payments integration, reporting, and monitoring
- Drive improvements in checkout performance, approval rates, and overall payment success
- Support growth initiatives in partnership with commercial and go‑to‑market teams
Job Requirements:
- At least 4-8 years of prior experience in product management with a payments or fintech firm.
- Prior experience in various payment methods would be beneficial, including cards, e-wallets, transfers etc.
- Knowledge or interest in digital assets / Web3 payments is a strong advantage.
