A leading multi-strategy fund is seeking a Quantitative Trader to join its trading team. The role offers exposure to both domestic and international markets, with a focus on systematic trading and strategy development.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain daily trading strategies for commodities futures/options or equities, including post-trade analysis and parameter optimization.
- Research new instruments and trading opportunities, conduct backtesting, and support live trading trials.
- Act as a project manager to coordinate across system development, product operations, and research teams; translate trading needs into PRDs and drive implementation.
- Continuously maintain and automate the quant trading platform.
- Participate in the development of new trading strategies.
- Manage broker relationships and execution quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above from top domestic or international universities in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Automation, Financial Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Linux and programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, R, or C++.
- Strong logical and analytical skills, solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, and clean coding practices.
- Fast learner with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in quantitative trading or research preferred; familiarity with index futures markets is a plus.
- Comfortable using English as a working language.
