Lombard Credit Operations Officer (m/f/d)
Our client is a well-established Swiss financial institution with a strong heritage in private banking and asset management. They are currently looking for a Lombard Credit Operations Officer to join the Basel office. This is a key role within the credit operations team, offering exposure to lombard credit processes and collaboration across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will bring a structured approach, strong operational skills, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of guarantees, from issuance to execution
- Conduct credit assessments to support the bank's lombard lending activities
- Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Compliance, Trading, and Relationship Management to ensure seamless operations
- Support the preparation of internal reports for senior credit and risk committees
- Carry out second-level reviews and controls on the bank's lending portfolio
Your Profile
- Vocational training in banking or a university degree (FH) in Finance or a related field
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in credit operations, ideally within lombard lending
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with Swift messaging systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Fluent in English; German and/or French are advantageous
