The team supports strategic buyers and operators across a range of asset‑heavy businesses, including retail‑adjacent and product‑driven categories. This team is looking to add an Investment Banking Associate due to their active deal flow.
Ideal candidates are current Investment Banking Associates with two plus years of experience in sell-side M&A (energy a plus but not required). Additionally candidates are located in or interested in relocating to Austin, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead components of sell‑side M&A processes
- Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses
- Review asset‑level financials and operational data
- Prepare transaction materials and presentations
- Manage client requests and maintain strong communication throughout the deal cycle
- Collaborate closely with senior team members in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment
Ideal Candidate
- Associate‑level experience in investment banking or a similar transaction‑focused role
- Strong modeling, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and respond quickly to client needs
- Interest in energy, multi‑site operations, or asset‑driven businesses
