Group Finance Manager

Our client, a leading investment groups, is seeking a Group Finance Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations of a Swiss holding company and its foreign subsidiaries.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure timely, high-quality reporting and drive efficiency through technology.
  • Support continuous improvement of accounting, financial control, planning systems, and risk management frameworks.
  • Manage investment tracking, cash flow planning, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure proper documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle tax filings and liaise with tax advisors.
  • Maintain accurate and complete master data across the group.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and asset valuations for stakeholder reporting.
  • Assess financial implications of legal and tax documentation related to transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance principles, and applicable regulations (e.g., AML).
  • Process capital calls, fund distributions, and support treasury and liquidity management.
  • Lead and develop finance team members and contribute to cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate on cost allocation and service improvement across group practices.
  • Oversee financial systems and ensure they are fit for purpose at the group level.

Key Qualifications

  • 8 + years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Strong knowledge of tax, accounting, and regulatory frameworks relevant to Swiss financial holdings.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Detail-oriented, independent, and collaborative with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong IT affinity and experience with modern accounting and portfolio management software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Master's degree in accounting or finance; post-graduate qualifications preferred.
