Crypto Quant Developer / Zurich
A leading global quantitative investment firm is seeking a talented Quant Technology Engineer to join its Crypto desk. This team is at the forefront of systematic trading in digital assets, combining deep technical expertise with a passion for innovation in the crypto and DeFi space.
This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact systems that power 24/7 algorithmic trading, collaborating closely with traders and researchers in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment.
Your Role
As a key member of the Crypto desk, you will:
- Build and enhance the quant technology stack supporting systematic crypto trading.
- Develop front-office systems across data ingestion, risk management, live trading, post-trade processing, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with quants and traders to deploy, support, and automate trading strategies.
- Integrate real-time on-chain data feeds and onboard DeFi venues.
- Contribute to greenfield projects and evolve the firm's sophisticated tech stack.
- Mentor junior engineers and uphold high standards for code quality and engineering practices.
Your Profile
- 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong C++ skills; Python experience is a plus.
- A background in systematic trading or financial technology is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in crypto and DeFi ecosystems.
- Experience building real-time, scalable, and robust systems.
- Ability to architect high-throughput, end-to-end platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and AWS is a plus.
