Vice President - Private Credit
A leading private credit platform with $4.5B AUM and a strong reputation in middle-market direct lending and opportunistic credit strategies is seeking a Vice President to join its growing team. The firm is highly entrepreneurial and top-heavy, currently raising its fourth fund (~$2B). Most transactions are firm-led and structured, offering significant influence over deal execution and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive execution of complex credit transactions across sponsored and non-sponsored deals
- Oversee financial modeling, credit analysis, and deal structuring
- Work closely with senior leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Contribute to portfolio management and support origination efforts over time
Ideal Candidate:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in private credit, leveraged finance, or investment banking (M&A or coverage)
- Strong technical skills and experience leading transactions
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic setting
- Other: No visa sponsorship; CPA/consulting-only backgrounds are not a fit.
