Vice President, Multi-Asset Product Strategy and Management
Overview:
A leading global asset management firm is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Product Strategy professional to support the growth and evolution of its multi-asset and fixed income investment platform. This individual will serve as a key liaison between investment teams, distribution, marketing, and product development, helping drive asset growth, refine product positioning, and identify new business opportunities across a diverse suite of investment vehicles.
The ideal candidate will combine strong product expertise with a deep understanding of financial markets and investor needs. This role offers significant visibility across the organization and the opportunity to influence both product strategy and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the product lead for a suite of fixed income and multi-asset investment strategies, partnering closely with investment, distribution, and marketing teams.
- Develop and enhance product narratives, competitive positioning, and value propositions to support fundraising efforts across institutional and intermediary channels.
- Provide subject matter expertise on investment strategies, market trends, portfolio positioning, and product-related inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support sales teams by developing customized content, client presentations, competitive analyses, and strategic responses to complex investor opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify industry trends, product gaps, and areas for innovation.
- Collaborate on the evaluation, design, and launch of new investment strategies, structures, and distribution opportunities.
- Monitor existing product offerings to ensure they remain competitive with respect to features, pricing, investment mandates, and market demand.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop thought leadership, educational content, and growth-oriented campaign initiatives.
- Work across multiple investment vehicles, including mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, and institutional mandates.
- Present regularly to senior management and contribute to strategic planning initiatives for the broader product platform.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience within asset management, investment products, product strategy, product management, portfolio specialist, or related investment-facing functions.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income markets; experience with multi-asset or income-oriented investment strategies is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting product growth initiatives, investment positioning, and distribution efforts.
- Familiarity with registered investment products, including mutual funds and ETFs.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into compelling client-facing messaging.
- Experience utilizing investment research and data platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, or similar tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and work effectively across investment, distribution, and operational teams.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or other advanced credentials are viewed favorably.
