A growth equity investment firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to join its Investor Relations team in San Francisco. This individual will be instrumental in driving fundraising efforts and deepening relationships with institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partake in fundraising initiatives across private equity vehicles, partnering closely with senior leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, and consultants.
- Develop and execute capital-raising strategies tailored to investor needs and firm objectives.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities and refine the firm's positioning
- Develop and deliver high-impact marketing materials, investor presentations, and fund updates.
- Manage the full fundraising lifecycle, including data room oversight, DDQs, RFPs, and diligence coordination.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in private equity fundraising, institutional sales, or investor relations.
- Proven success raising capital from sophisticated institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of private equity structures, fund terms, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and project execution skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
