The Vice President, 1031 Exchange Solutions will serve as the firm's subject matter expert on tax-deferred exchange strategies, advising investors through complex transactions while driving business development efforts. This individual will lead client engagements from initial consultation through transaction execution, develop referral and investor relationships, and help grow a dedicated tax-advantaged investment platform. The role combines technical expertise, client advisory responsibilities, relationship management, and revenue generation.
The Vice President, 1031 Exchange Solutions will be responsible for:
- Lead and grow the firm's tax-deferred exchange solutions platform.
- Advise clients on tax-efficient real estate investment and exchange strategies.
- Structure customized investment solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Manage transaction execution from inception through closing.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle.
- Source new business opportunities through referral networks, industry relationships, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, intermediaries, advisors, and other centers of influence.
- Conduct educational presentations, seminars, and client meetings.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining a high level of client service.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with investment, acquisitions, capital markets, and business development teams.
- Support fundraising and business development efforts across the broader organization.

The Vice President, 1031 Exchange Solutions should have:
- 10+ years of experience within the tax-deferred exchange, tax-advantaged real estate, or related investment industry.
- Deep understanding of tax-deferred exchange regulations and real estate transaction structures.
- Strong knowledge of real estate investing, market fundamentals, and transaction execution.
- Proven business development and relationship management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and cultivate new client relationships.
