Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven individual to join our Corporate Rates Sales & Solutions team at Associate level within our Global Markets division. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment at an Investment Bank, engaging directly with corporate clients to deliver bespoke interest rate solutions and strategic risk management advice.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of interest rate products, while contributing to the broader strategic objectives of the Fixed Income business. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, market awareness, and a deep understanding of macroeconomic factors influencing rates markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients across sectors, providing tailored interest rate risk management solutions.
- Support senior sales professionals in the execution of derivative transactions, including swaps, options, and structured products.
- Collaborate with structuring, trading, and research teams to deliver comprehensive market insights and product innovation.
- Monitor market developments and macroeconomic trends to proactively identify client opportunities and risks.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks and internal risk policies.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the Corporate Rates franchise through idea generation and client engagement.
Candidate Profile
- 2-4 years of experience in Rates Sales, Structuring, or a related Fixed Income discipline within a leading financial institution.
- Strong academic background, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated understanding of interest rate markets, derivative instruments, and macroeconomic drivers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
