We're looking for a Trading Systems Engineer to support and optimize mission-critical trading platforms. You'll work closely with traders and developers to ensure maximum system uptime, troubleshoot production issues, automate processes, and improve the reliability of low-latency trading infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Support and monitor proprietary trading systems in production.
- Troubleshoot issues across applications, infrastructure, market data, and exchange connectivity.
- Automate operational processes, deployments, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to maintain optimal trading performance.
- Support software releases and drive operational excellence across the production environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting Linux-based production systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, multicast, routing).
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have
- Trading systems or financial markets experience.
- FIX protocol knowledge.
- Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana experience.
- Docker, Ansible, or Chef exposure.
- Experience in high-performance or low-latency environments.
