About the Role
We are seeking a Trading Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will be the backbone of our trading infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across global markets. You will work closely with traders, developers, and risk teams to maintain system stability, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain trading systems to ensure high availability and low latency.
- Respond to and resolve production issues quickly, minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with developers to deploy new releases and implement system improvements.
- Automate operational tasks and develop tools to enhance efficiency.
- Analyze system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, multicast, low-latency protocols).
- Familiarity with trading environments or financial markets is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
