Position Overview:
The firm is looking to bring on a Trade Operations Team Lead to oversee post-trade and middle office functions across a multi-asset investment platform. This individual will lead a team, manage critical trade lifecycle processes, and partner closely with investment, risk, technology and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop an operations team supporting trade support, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Oversee post-trade processing across multiple asset classes.
- Manage trade settlements and reconciliation activities, ensuring timely resolution of exceptions.
- Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues.
- Partner with internal teams and external counterparties to support daily operations.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain strong controls, procedures, and documentation.
- 10+ years of operations or middle office experience within investment management, hedge funds, or financial services.
- Prior people management or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle events, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Experience supporting multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and futures.
- Familiarity with industry platforms and operational workflow tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
