Selby Jennings is partnering with a middle‑market technology‑focused investment bank to hire an Associate for its Technology Investment Banking team in San Francisco. This is a high‑impact opportunity to join a lean, active platform advising high‑growth software, internet, fintech, and broader digital economy companies. The Associate will play a key role in transaction execution, client interaction, and cross‑border deal work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of sell‑side M&A and private capital raise transactions
- Build financial models and valuation analyses
- Prepare client materials including CIMs, pitches, and presentations
- Manage diligence processes and deal timelines
- Interface with founders and investors throughout engagements
- Mentor junior bankers and support team execution
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of investment banking experience, ideally within technology
- Strong execution background across M&A and/or private capital raises
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Strong communication and client‑facing abilities
- Experience managing Analysts and workstreams
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
