Technical Consultant - Fintech
As a Technical Consultant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and performance of a sophisticated capital markets platform within client infrastructure. From pre-sales to implementation and ongoing support, you'll be the technical point of contact, helping clients optimize system reliability, scalability, and operability.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on system architecture and production setup
- Support clients in infrastructure sizing, deployment, and maintenance (hardware/software)
- Monitor and enhance system performance, stability, and reliability
- Conduct root cause analysis, benchmarking, and performance profiling
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and evolution of the platform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 1-3 years of hands-on technical experience
- Exposure to capital markets software (trading, risk, or operations)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
- Programming skills in C, C++, or Java
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to learning
- Knowledge of multi-threaded programming and middleware
- Familiarity with debugging tools (Valgrind, GDB, BPF, Java profilers)
- SRE or development experience
- Database administration skills
