Senior Tax Compliance Specialist - Private Bank
This is a strategic role with cross-functional impact, offering the opportunity to shape internal standards, contribute to regulatory monitoring, and support business units in navigating complex tax frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all matters related to QI, FATCA, CRS, and customer tax compliance across group entities
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of compliance measures
- Represent the institution in relevant industry working groups
- Conduct reviews and controls as part of onboarding and periodic client assessments
- Execute internal control system (ICS) activities and second-line-of-defense checks
- Respond to internal inquiries and support teams on tax-related compliance issues
- Develop and maintain documentation including fact sheets, guidelines, process descriptions, and client forms
- Support the implementation of international tax topics in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in tax compliance, ideally within financial services or private banking
- Familiarity with QI, FATCA, AIA/CRS regulations and their practical application
- Experience supporting front-office teams on tax-related matters
- Knowledge of Avaloq or similar core banking systems is a plus
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
