Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the full cycle of overseas fundraising, formulate overseas fundraising strategies and annual performance targets, and focus on core institutional clients such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and FOFs to efficiently complete large-scale fundraising tasks.
- Develop, manage, and maintain overseas mainstream distribution channels, be familiar with full-cycle distribution processes and compliance requirements, optimise cooperation models, and improve product distribution scale.
- Oversee overseas prime broker securities‑lending relationships, have strong knowledge of securities‑lending rules, cost structures, and cooperation models; build a stable broker network to ensure efficient business execution.
- Deepen relationships with quantitative private fund clients, lead core client development, communication, and long‑term relationship management, while providing customised fundraising solutions and high‑quality post‑investment services.
- Track overseas market trends and regulatory developments, develop targeted marketing and roadshow plans, organise and participate in overseas industry conferences and client events, and communicate the firm's core values.
- Build and lead the Hong Kong marketing team, collaborate with investment, research, and operations teams to optimise overseas fundraising processes and ensure business is compliant and efficiently executed.
Requirements
- Hands‑on overseas fundraising experience, with a proven track record in raising significant capital; experience in quantitative private equity / hedge funds preferred.
- Deep familiarity with overseas bank distribution models, including full life‑cycle channel development, implementation, scaling, and compliance.
- Extensive experience working with major overseas brokers on securities‑lending, able to efficiently coordinate to solve business issues and maintain stable broker channels.
- Proven experience engaging with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and family offices, with strong institutional client resources.
- Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable domestic or overseas university; majors such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance preferred; SFC Type 4/9 license is a plus.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English (English can be used as the working language); excellent communication, negotiation, roadshow presentation, and team management skills; strong stress resilience.
- Legal right to live/work in Hong Kong, and familiarity with Hong Kong and overseas financial markets and regulatory environments.
