A global multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking a Senior Asia Industrial Analyst to join its Hong Kong-based investment team. This position focuses on in-depth research and analysis of industrial sectors across Asia, with a strong emphasis on Hong Kong and China. Experience covering factory automation, industrials, or automotive sectors is highly valued. Experience in covering Japan industrials is highly preferable.
- Conduct comprehensive fundamental research on industrial companies, with a primary focus on Asia.
- Generate actionable investment ideas and present findings to the portfolio management team.
- Track industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting the industrial sector.
- Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to support investment decisions and portfolio construction.
- Proven experience covering Hong Kong and China industrial sectors is essential.
- Additional experience with Japanese Industrials is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant equity research or investment analysis experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
