Senior Data Analyst (People Analytics)
We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled professional to support workforce analytics, business reporting, and strategic planning initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of Human Resources, Finance, and Data Analytics, helping business leaders make informed decisions through data-driven insights and scalable reporting solutions.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical capabilities with excellent stakeholder management skills, leveraging data to improve workforce planning, talent management, operational efficiency, and organizational performance. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects spanning reporting automation, analytics engineering, workforce modeling, and strategic business analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Reporting Solutions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting tools for stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leadership.
- Design scalable reporting frameworks using modern business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies.
- Transform complex business requirements into actionable analytics solutions that support decision-making.
- Automate recurring reporting processes and improve efficiency through streamlined data workflows.
- Deliver customized analyses and reporting for both ongoing and ad hoc business needs.
Data Management & Engineering
- Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate information from multiple enterprise systems, including human capital management, recruiting, and financial platforms.
- Support data architecture enhancements and contribute to the evolution of analytics infrastructure.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis.
- Develop scalable data models that enable efficient access to workforce and financial information.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, governance, and reporting processes.
Workforce & Organizational Analytics
- Produce analytics related to workforce composition, retention, recruiting performance, compensation trends, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Create reporting and visualizations that monitor hiring activity, recruitment funnel performance, and workforce planning metrics.
- Conduct quantitative analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle.
- Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling approaches to generate actionable insights from large datasets.
- Support organizational planning initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations to business leaders.
Financial & Strategic Planning Support
- Partner with Finance and HR teams to support workforce forecasting, resource planning, and budgeting activities.
- Develop models and reporting that track workforce-related costs and staffing trends.
- Assist with annual planning cycles, scenario analysis, and long-term organizational planning efforts.
- Analyze workforce data to support strategic decision-making and financial forecasting.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with business leaders and functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Present findings, trends, and recommendations to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Contribute to best practices around analytics, documentation, data governance, and reporting standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying trends and opportunities within workforce and operational data.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data analysis, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, including experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Strong experience developing dashboards and visualizations using BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar tools.
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting data models.
- Familiarity with enterprise HR, recruiting, finance, or operational systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving business priorities.
- Knowledge of data privacy principles and practices for handling sensitive employee information.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
