Senior C++ Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop ultra-low latency trading infrastructure using modern C++.
- Optimize system performance across network, application, and operating system layers.
- Build and enhance trading engines, connectivity platforms, and market-facing infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and traders to implement production-ready trading solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and drive engineering excellence across the development team.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and deliver scalable solutions for demanding production environments.
- Contribute to the stability, resilience, and long-term evolution of global trading platforms.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software architecture, testing, and performance engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial experience developing software in modern C++ (C++20 preferred).
- Deep understanding of Linux-based development and production environments.
- Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, memory optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with TCP/UDP networking and low-latency communication protocols.
- Background in financial markets, electronic trading, proprietary trading, market making, or quantitative trading environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced engineering culture.
- Experience with Python, market data platforms, risk systems, cryptocurrency trading infrastructure, or exchange connectivity would be beneficial.
