Senior Associate/VP - Fund Finance (NAV)
Position Overview:
A top-tier global institution is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate or Vice President to support its Fund Finance platform in New York, with a strong emphasis on NAV-based facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior originators and product specialists in structuring and executing bespoke fund financing solutions for a broad range of private capital clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the origination and execution of NAV, hybrid, and equity derivative-based credit facilities for private equity funds, hedge funds, fund-of-funds, and registered investment vehicles.
- Assist in client engagement by analyzing fund structures, financing needs, and strategic objectives to help shape tailored solutions.
- Prepare term sheets, credit memos, and transaction materials in collaboration with senior team members.
- Manage deal execution workflows, including coordination with legal, credit, and capital markets teams.
- Contribute to legal documentation review and negotiation under guidance from senior leadership.
- Monitor market developments and assist in product development initiatives to enhance the platform's capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of experience in fund finance, structured lending, or equity derivatives.
- Solid understanding of Equity NAV structures and fund-level financing.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with private capital fund mechanics and collateral structuring.
- Demonstrated ability to manage transaction processes and contribute to client relationship development.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or JD is a plus.
