Job Title: Securitized Products Structurer (AVP / Junior VP)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and technically skilled professional to join our Securitized Products Origination team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in structured finance and a passion for complex deal structuring across asset-backed and asset-based transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full structuring process for complex asset-backed securities (ABS) and asset-based lending (ABL) transactions from initial assessment through execution.
- Develop and refine advanced financial models in Excel to analyze deal structures, incorporating detailed bond math and structured finance principles.
- Design and optimize capital structures to enhance transaction efficiency and manage credit exposure.
- Evaluate and support the structuring of transactions across a broad range of asset types.
- Utilize Intex and VBA tools to assess deal performance and automate analytical workflows.
- Contribute to transactions involving residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and student loan securitizations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in structured finance, particularly in ABS and ABL deal structuring.
- Strong modeling skills in Excel, with a deep understanding of bond math and cash flow analysis.
- Familiarity with Intex analytics and VBA programming is highly desirable.
- Exposure to a variety of asset classes and securitization types, including RMBS and student loans.
