Risk Analytics Manager
A leading investment analytics and risk technology firm is looking to hire a Risk Analytics Manager to join its growing Hong Kong team. This is an excellent opportunity for an investment risk professional who enjoys working across risk analytics, valuation, portfolio risk, data quality and risk infrastructure within a multi asset environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in validating risk calculations, enhancing risk processes and supporting the firm's continued growth.
What does the role involve?
- Review and validate daily risk calculations across multi asset portfolios
- Analyse portfolio risk exposures and ensure risk reporting accuracy
- Validate pricing, valuations and risk outputs produced by internal systems and external vendors
- Support the ongoing development of risk analytics frameworks and methodologies
- Manage and improve security master, market data and pricing data quality
- Investigate risk, exposure and valuation anomalies
- Work closely with technology, data and investment teams to improve risk infrastructure
- Assist with onboarding and risk modelling of new products and strategies
- Contribute to regulatory, compliance and internal risk reporting requirements
What experience do you need?
- Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, derivatives and multi asset portfolios
- Experience analysing and validating risk metrics, exposures and valuations
- Knowledge of risk methodologies including VaR, stress testing and scenario analysis
- Understanding of pricing data, security master data and market data management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a hands on, ownership driven environment
