Reporting Director
My client is looking for a strategic and experienced Reporting Director to lead fronting carrier and reinsurer reporting at a rapidly growing insurtech startup that's transforming the commercial real estate insurance industry. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is passionate about building scalable reporting processes that support compliance, transparency, and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will bring deep insurance industry knowledge-particularly in MGA structures and reinsurer relationships-along with strong analytical and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage monthly reporting packages for carriers and reinsurers.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Build strong relationships with external partners and internal teams.
- Lead reporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Deliver insights that support strategic decisions across underwriting, finance, and operations.
Requirements
- 4+ years in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services with a focus on reporting or finance operations.
- Experience with MGA structures and reinsurer reporting (preferred).
- Accounting background is a plus.
- Proven leadership in reporting functions and external reporting obligations.
- Strong project management and process improvement skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
