Regulatory Compliance, AML & KYC Consultancy (m/w/d)
What you'll be doing
- Advising banks and financial institutions on AML, KYC and regulatory compliance
- Supporting clients across the cooperative banking, savings bank, regional and specialist banking sectors
- Analysing and implementing AMLR and wider AML regulatory requirements
- Reviewing and optimising KYC, CDD and AML processes
- Conducting regulatory gap analyses and developing practical remediation measures
- Working closely with Compliance, business functions, management and other key stakeholders
- Supporting both traditional and agile regulatory projects
- Over time, taking greater ownership of client relationships and follow-up projects
What we're looking for
- Several years of experience within Compliance, AML or KYC, ideally within banking, financial services or consulting
- Strong practical exposure to areas such as:
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- KYC reviews
- Customer risk assessments
- Good knowledge of the German and European AML regulatory environment, particularly AMLR, AMLD and GwG
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business and implementation measures
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Business-fluent German
- Willingness to travel to client sites within Germany, typically at least three days per week
