Quantitative Developer
A small prop trading firm that focuses on electronic options market making is seeking a Quant Developer/Software Engineer to assist in building trading strategies and tooling. In this role, you'll work closely with traders and researchers to design, implement, and optimize trading strategies and systems. The small collaborative environment of the firm will allow for tremendous leadership opportunities and growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance trading systems and infrastructure
- Design and implement real-time market data processing pipelines
- Create sophisticated testing frameworks for trading strategies
- Optimize execution algorithms for various market conditions
- Collaborate with traders to translate trading ideas into production code
- Build monitoring and risk management tools
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with low-latency systems and optimization
- Solid foundation in probability and statistics
