Private Equity Associate
An established private investment firm is seeking an Associate to join its Los Angeles-based team. The firm focuses on partnering with market-leading middle-market companies across industrials, business services, software, and technology-enabled services. Associates are given meaningful responsibility from day one and work directly with senior investment professionals on both transaction execution and portfolio company initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation, and market research.
- Support all phases of due diligence, including commercial, financial, and operational workstreams.
- Develop investment memoranda and presentations for internal decision-making.
- Assist in executing platform acquisitions, add-on investments, and recapitalization transactions.
- Monitor existing portfolio investments and support value creation initiatives.
- Conduct industry research and proactively identify new investment opportunities.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related transaction-oriented role.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine interest in investing, operational improvement, and value creation.
