Private Equity Associate - 2026
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven and intellectually curious Associate to join our clients investment team starting in 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals on all aspects of the investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence to execution and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for investing in middle-market companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Analysis & Execution:
- Build detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, etc.).
- Conduct due diligence across financial, operational, and market dimensions.
- Support deal structuring and negotiations alongside senior team members.
- Prepare investment committee materials and presentations.
Deal Sourcing & Screening:
- Evaluate inbound opportunities and assist in proactive sourcing efforts.
- Conduct industry research and competitive landscape analysis.
Portfolio Company Support:
- Monitor performance and KPIs across portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with management teams to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Assist in exit planning and execution.
Firm & Fund Initiatives:
- Contribute to fundraising efforts, including LP presentations and data room management.
- Support internal strategy, reporting, and process optimization.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, or private equity.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for Technology, Telecommunications, or Tech-enabled services.
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus but not required.
