Principal, Fund Operations Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in private credit fund operations, fund finance, or fund accounting oversight.
- Strong understanding of direct lending and distressed credit investments.
- Experience with evergreen fund structures and their operational requirements.
- Knowledge of fund structures, allocations, capital activity, liquidity management, valuations, and fee calculations.
- Experience launching or managing complex private market investment vehicles.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage external service providers.
- Experience leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve operational efficiency.
Principal, Fund Operations Key Responsibilities
- Support the launch and ongoing oversight of a cross-border evergreen private credit fund.
- Manage cash forecasting, capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, and liquidity planning.
- Oversee fund models, performance reporting, fee calculations, and investor allocations.
- Ensure compliance with fund governing documents, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support investor reporting, due diligence requests, and management presentations.
- Enhance controls, reporting processes, data governance, and operational workflows. Partner with Portfolio Management, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Accounting, and Investor Relations teams.
- Identify and resolve operational risks while driving scalable process improvements
