Metals Settlements Associate (Physical & Cash)
Role Overview
The Commodities Back Office Analyst will be responsible for cash and physical settlement of commodities trades, with a particular focus on precious and base metals physical delivery in London.
This role is essential to ensure safe settlement, inventory control and reconciliation across the full trade lifecycle.

More than 4 years of experience managing Commodities settlements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash settlement and physical delivery of commodities trades.
- Handle settlement instructions, cut-offs and fail management.
- Support onboarding and daily interaction with:
- Clearing brokers
- Bullion banks
- Custodians / vaults.
- Manage allocated and unallocated metal accounts.
- Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate and timely confirmations and settlement matching.
- Support month-end and audit activities related to inventory and settlements.
Requirements
- Experience in Back Office / Settlements within Commodities Metals.
- Strong understanding of physical metals settlement (London market preferred).
- Knowledge of allocated vs unallocated account structures.
- Familiarity with clearing and settlement processes for OTC commodities.
- Strong control mindset and attention to detail.
- Fluent English and Spanish
