L/S Semis/Hardware Analyst
Location: New York
We're ideally looking for someone coming from another L/S hedge fund with strong modeling capabilities and genuine passion for the semis/hard‑tech ecosystem.
What You'll Do:
- Deep fundamental research across semiconductors & hardware
- Build/maintain detailed financial models & valuations
- Generate and present investment ideas directly to the PM
- Track industry trends, earnings revisions & key catalysts
- Meet with management teams, sell-side analysts & experts
- Utilize alt data & analytical tools to strengthen conviction
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years in buy‑side equity research
- Outstanding financial modeling skills
- Curiosity and drive to produce differentiated insights
- Knowledge of TMT/hard tech is a plus (not required)
- Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset
- Strong communication & analytical rigor
- Python experience is a plus
- Top-tier academic background
