As part of continued growth in Asia, they are seeking an experienced Listed Derivatives Execution Trader to join their Singapore-based team.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing listed derivatives transactions on behalf of institutional clients across major global exchanges. Working closely with sales, clearing, and global trading teams, the individual will provide high-quality execution services, market colour, and trading support while ensuring best execution standards and regulatory compliance.
This role offers significant client interaction and exposure to hedge funds, asset managers, banks, commodity trading houses, and other sophisticated market participants active in FX futures and options markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute client orders across listed FX futures and options products on global exchanges.
- Deliver efficient execution services while maintaining best execution standards and minimizing market impact.
- Monitor market movements, liquidity conditions, and order flow to provide timely market intelligence to clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, supporting their execution and trading requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for increased client engagement and trading activity.
- Coordinate with internal clearing, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth trade lifecycle management.
- Support onboarding of new clients and assist with product education and market updates.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of exchange rules, market structure developments, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing execution strategies and workflow solutions tailored to client needs.
- Contribute to revenue generation through increased client activity and wallet share growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-8 years of experience within listed derivatives execution, futures brokerage, agency execution, or institutional trading environments.
- Strong knowledge of FX futures and options products, including G10 FX futures and other major exchange-listed currency derivatives.
- Familiarity with exchange market structure, order types, and execution strategies.
- Existing relationships with institutional market participants would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of futures clearing and post-trade processes.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
