IT Auditor - Insurance
Our client:
A leading international financial services provider committed to long-term stability and innovation is seeking an experienced IT Audit professional to strengthen its audit function. The company operates across multiple regions, offering a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Position: Senior IT Auditor (all genders)
Location: Zürich (hybrid)
Estimated Salary: 120.000-140.000* CHF base
Languages: Fluent German and English (c1+); French is a plus
Travel: Approximately 15% internationally
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and report on IT audits in line with recognized frameworks and regulatory guidelines (IIA, ISACA, DORA)
- Assess IT risk management practices, incident reporting processes, resilience testing, and third-party service management
- Identify gaps in IT risk controls and propose actionable, long-term improvements
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports and monitor the implementation of recommendations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in areas such as risk, compliance, and IT to provide advisory support
Profile Requirements
- The legal right to work and live in Switzerland without sponsorship
- Fluent English and German (C1+); fluent French (C1+) is advantageous
- University degree or equivalent qualification in business, computer science, finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT audit, IT security, or risk management, in financial services, insurance, or banking sector
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and/or business continuity practices
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards such as DORA, NIST, and COBIT
- Proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel occasionally
