A well-established Investment Firm in Washington, DC is looking to add an Investor Relations Associate to support ongoing fundraising initiatives, LP communications, and broader capital formation strategy. The Investor Relations Associate will play a key role in supporting the firm's engagement with existing and prospective investors. This individual will collaborate closely with senior leadership across IR, investment teams, and operations to deliver clear, consistent, and timely communication to Limited Partners.
The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for:
- Assist in the preparation of fundraising materials, including pitch decks, RFPs, DDQs, and data room content
- Support ongoing LP communication efforts: quarterly reports, portfolio updates, ad hoc requests, and investor presentations
- Maintain CRM data and ensure accuracy across investor pipelines, contact records, and tracking systems
- Conduct market research and competitive analyses to support capital raising initiatives
- Help coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and annual meetings
- Partner with internal teams (finance, operations, and investment professionals) to gather data and insights for investor deliverables
- Support the development of marketing collateral and investor messaging
The Investor Relations Associate should have:
- 1-3+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or asset management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information clearly
- High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Interest in private markets, fundraising, and relationship-driven work
