Job Title: Investment Banking Vice President - M&A
Location: Remote

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Vice President to join their high performing Investment Banking team, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) within the Architecture, Engineering, and Consulting (AEC) industry across the Middle Market.

As a Vice President, you will be responsible for leading deal execution, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior bankers. You will work closely with senior leadership to deliver high-quality M&A advisory to AEC firms navigating strategic growth, consolidation, and capital markets opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end M&A transaction execution, including sell-side and buy-side mandates
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with AEC firm executives, private equity sponsors, and strategic acquirers.
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, including confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and pitch books.
  • Conduct and review financial modeling, valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and strategic alternatives assessments.
  • Manage due diligence processes, coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors, and ensure deal timelines are met.
  • Support origination efforts by identifying new business opportunities and contributing to strategic pitches.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on M&A execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transactions independently, including managing client communications and internal deal teams.
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence senior executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Prior exposure to the AEC industry or adjacent sectors (e.g., industrials, infrastructure, environmental services) is a plus but not required.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
