Investment Banking Experienced Analyst
This client is a leading investment bank in NYC looking to expand their Consumer Group with a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst II/III. This is an opportunity to work in one of the highest revenue-generating groups on the platform. You will gain exposure to sophisticated sell-side M&A transactions for prominent consumer brands, while benefiting from mentorship and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of sell-side M&A processes, including financial analysis, valuation, and preparation of marketing materials.
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research within the consumer sector.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate strategic alternatives.
- Assist in drafting presentations and transaction documents for clients and prospective buyers.
- Coordinate due diligence and manage data rooms throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of investment banking experience, ideally with exposure to M&A transactions.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Interest or prior experience in the consumer sector is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills.
