Role: Investment Banking Associate
Compensation: $200,000 Base + Bonus
We are partnered with a highly regarded Middle-Market Investment Bank seeking to add an Associate to their Investment Banking team in Virginia. This position offers the chance to work on high‑quality transactions while being part of a collaborative, tight‑knit culture that emphasizes career development and internal mobility. As an Associate, you will gain significant exposure to senior bankers, contribute to active deal flow, and continue building strong transactional and analytical experience across multiple industries.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and refine complex financial models to evaluate performance across various operating scenarios.
* Conduct comprehensive financial, operational, and industry due diligence on prospective investments, acquisitions, and new business opportunities.
* Work closely with senior bankers to support the execution of live transactions, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
* Assist with day‑to‑day deal management, including preparing materials, coordinating workstreams, and supporting client communications.
* Analyze industry trends, conduct market research, and contribute to pitch materials and strategic insights.
Ideal Experience:
* 3+ years of Investment Banking or related transaction experience.
* Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
* Based in Virginia or open to relocation.
